Kwezikazi Mfithi, Teaching Artist


Kwezikazi Mfithi, is a multidisciplinary artist and trained facilitator with expertise in acting, music, and visual arts. She began performing at eight years old in church and school productions, later blossoming in Durban, South Africa, where she was featured as a soloist on a school CD. She trained at Lady Grey Arts Academy, majoring in Visual Arts, Music, and Drama, and earned a Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Applied Theatre (Cum Laude), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Performing Arts, majoring in Theatre for Community Engagement (Cum Laude) at Tshwane University of Technology.

Kwezikazi has performed at the South African State Theatre, participated in international theatre festivals including the TX Theatre Festival, and taken part in an exchange program in Sweden. She has explored musical theatre, radio drama, and music video performance, and completed Breitenbach Theatre Masterclasses. Currently based in the United States of America, she teaches Dramatic Arts and facilitates theatre led community engagement initiatives.
