ACTion! Backstage Camp (1-Week Camp) Summer 2026

Kids ages 7-14 step backstage to explore theatre magic through stage and special effects make-up, sketching set and costume designs, and an introduction to stage management. Campers may also help create small props or set pieces while enjoying fun acting games and improvisation.

START DATES & LOCATIONS:

Camps run from 9am to 4pm unless otherwise noted, with new activities offered each session. Campers share a mini performance for parents during the final hour of camp.

✰ June 29 - July 2: Braddock Elementary School

✰ July 27 - 3: Stratford Landing Elementary School

✰ Aug. 3 -7: Westbriar Elementary School

Sessions are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met at least one week prior to the start date. Campers should bring a packed lunch, two snacks, water, a pencil, and a highlighter each day. If the location includes swimming (typically at RECenters), campers should also bring a swimsuit and towel. Scripts are provided at camp and should be brought daily. Parents may leave after check-in and return at pick-up time.
